Mike represented the Central Otago Environmental Society as a section 274 interested party to the successful protection of the Nevis River from damming by way of a Water Conservation Order. The Nevis River is a world class white water rafting river and is home to the endangered ‘Gollum galaxiid’, a unique and endangered native fish.
