Holm Majurey has been engaged by the Government on a wide range of matters involving resource management and environmental legislation, hazardous substances and new organisms legislation, Māori and treaty issues, climate change, and local government matters (to name but a few).
Specifically, Mike worked with the (then) Ministry of Economic Development developing the Offshore Petroleum Health Safety and Environmental Regulatory Review and Recommendations.
In 2009 Paul and Mike were members of a technical advisory group on the Resource Management Act which led to the Resource Management (Simplifying and Streamlining) Amendment Act.
In 2012 Mike also served as chair of the Local Government Efficiency Taskforce.
